Acne Cleansers

Acne cleansers are designed to remove excess oil, sunscreen, makeup and daily impurities from skin that is prone to clogged pores and blemishes. Browse gel, foam, cream and exfoliating face washes suitable for oily, combination, sensitive or acne-prone skin. Formulas may contain salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, niacinamide, zinc or gentle exfoliating acids. A stronger formula is not always better, as over-cleansing can leave the skin feeling dry or uncomfortable. Choose a cleanser that suits your skin type and use it as directed, followed by a lightweight moisturizer. Some cleansers can also be used on blemish-prone areas of the chest, shoulders or back when stated on the product label.
