Cream Deodorant

Cream deodorants use a smooth texture that can be spread directly over the underarms. They are available in scented, fragrance-free and sensitive-skin formulas, with some products functioning only as deodorants and others combining deodorant and antiperspirant ingredients. Check the label carefully: deodorants are designed mainly to control or mask body odour, while antiperspirant formulas also reduce sweating. Apply a small amount to clean, dry skin and avoid freshly shaved, broken or irritated areas when the product causes discomfort. Fragrance-free products may be preferable for sensitive skin, and use should be stopped if persistent redness, burning or irritation develops.
