These products can help condition the hairs, reduce a dry or brittle appearance and create a neater or fuller-looking cosmetic effect, but ordinary cosmetics should not promise permanent eyelash or eyebrow regrowth. Follow the application area carefully, avoid direct contact with the eye and stop using the product if persistent redness, swelling or irritation develops. Prescription bimatoprost for eyelash growth is different from cosmetic lash serums and has specific directions and risks, including possible eyelid darkening and potentially permanent iris pigmentation. It should not be treated as a general cosmetic brow product.
