Intimate wash is a liquid or foaming cleanser made for the external intimate area. These products are generally designed to remove sweat and everyday residue while being milder than heavily fragranced body washes, although formulas vary and not every product is suitable for highly sensitive skin.
Use a small amount externally, rinse thoroughly and follow the product’s age and usage instructions. An intimate wash should not be used inside the vagina and does not treat infections or replace medical care. Choose an unperfumed option if fragrance causes discomfort, and discontinue use if dryness, burning or irritation develops.
