Nappy Cream

Nappy cream includes barrier creams, pastes and ointments designed to protect delicate skin in the diaper area from prolonged contact with moisture and everyday irritation. Some products are intended for routine use at each change, while others are formulated for skin that already looks red, sore or uncomfortable. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin and change wet or dirty nappies promptly. Fragrance-free and alcohol-free cleansing options may be more suitable for irritation-prone skin, while talcum powder and antiseptics should not be applied to nappy rash.
